We worked on the aircraft carrier at Patriots Point today. It was really cool to be on the aircraft carrier and it was massive! Much larger than it looks from the Ravenal Bridge. It was cold, rainy and pretty much just crappy. We were at least not filming on the top deck to start with this morning, but it was cold inside the carrier despite the heaters locations had set up everywhere. How disappointing to have such a dreary, miserable day for our last day of shooting. On the up side, the crafty girls brought me hot chocolate made with milk to help warm me up and it was delicious!

It finally stopped raining before we had to head to the top deck to film our last scene of the day. It was certainly an awesome view from the top deck of the Ravenal Bridge and the waterway, but boy was it breezy! Brrr! There was also a sailing class out in the waterway that we were able to watch while we were setting up for our shot. We ended up wrapping by 3pm which was awesome! It was so cold and windy that I headed back to basecamp to finish my wrap out work in the comfort and warmth of the trailer.
The crafty girls stopped by the trailer I was in and brought me a little pregnancy wrap gift - a jar of pickles and a handful of Reese's Christmas trees. I finished my work and turned everything in and headed home to Wilmington! I was just hoping I would get there in time to vote as it was Election Day. I pulled into our polling place at 6:30pm. Whew! I made it! I went in and voted and felt very satisfied that I was finally able to after two tries exercise my right to vote! I then drove the 5 miles to our house where Marshall and JoJo were waiting to greet me. We stayed up and watched the election results come in until Obama won Ohio and I knew he had won the election. So I gladly went to bed satisfied that I knew what the results would officially be when I woke up. Since I had been up since 5am, I was more than happy to go to bed in my own bed
