Nolan Eason

At 1:03AM on Friday, March 30, 2012 my first child was born - a son. We named him Nolan Eason. 21" long, 5lb 3oz. He was beautiful and perfect in every way, except that he was stillborn. As we searched for answers to his untimely death, we also searched for comfort. This blog was created as a way of working through my sorrow by trying to find something beautiful in the world each day. Hopefully, along the way it will help others to heal as well.

Bye Bye Homeland

Stacey and Marshall got up early and headed over to the house to start work on painting the inside. Meanwhile, JoJo and I stayed at the apartment and started packing up and finishing up my wrap out for Homeland. I printed my last few continuity photos and while I was trying to get everything organized, JoJo helped by laying all over them! I packed up all my continuity stuff and JoJo and I headed to the Homeland office to turn everything in. I turned my books in and all my continuity photos and then headed over to accounting to turn in my last timecard and say goodbye to Melissa. I said some more goodbyes to our producer Michael Klick and the office guys and JoJo and I headed out to NoDa house. By the time we got over there it was well after lunch time and they were starving, so we left JoJo in charge of guarding the house and went to Zack's for lunch.

After stuffing our faces with a Zack's burger, we headed back over so they could finish up painting. I watered the bushes and did some cleaning while they painted until it got dark. JoJo supervised everyone the entire time. Eventually, it got too dark for us to be able to do anything else so we left and headed back to the apartment. We dropped JoJo off at the apartment, changed clothes and headed over to P.F. Chang's for some dinner! Yum! I love P.F. Chang's. This was Stacey's first time dining at P.F. Chang's and she loved it. With our stomachs full, we went back to the apartment and I cleaned while they watched Ancient Aliens on Netflix. I left them watching and went to bed.
