This morning Marshall and I got up early and started work on replacing the front door. After a few hours the new door was in and I was working on painting it red like the old door had been. I also went around touching up the other doors in the house and painting the closet doors black to match. The only way Marshall would allow me to paint was if I wore a mask and latex gloves to avoid getting any paint on me or breathing in any fumes. Meanwhile, Marshall donned his space suit and began staining the front porch ceiling.
For lunch I went and picked up Marshall's favorite - Zack's. Of course, no trip out would be complete without a stop by Lowe's first. We took a mini break and ate our Zack's burgers and assessed what else needed to be done today. Marshall was determined to finish staining the entire porch today as well as paint the inside of the closets in the whole house.

We eventually moved the new stove into the kitchen, making the kitchen done! Check. One room off the list. In the afternoon, our realtor Lexi showed up with a truck full of furniture, two moving guys and a woman stager and her brand new baby. She brought the baby in her carrier and JoJo was immediately curious about her baby. She was good with the baby though. Just smelled her and watched her. She was sleeping so JoJo quickly lost interest. They brought a ton of furniture in and helped Marshall move the couch we had in the living room out to JT's trailer. After they left we resumed our painting and staining. I finally finished all the doors and decided to go shower. Marshall was still staining when it was time to leave to go meet Lexi for dinner, so he had to put it away and put a lock on the new door before we left.
We met Lexi at Loco Lime for dinner and she had our real estate agreement on her iPad for us to look over and sign. We decided to list the house for $162,000 and it will go on the market the Monday after Thanksgiving. What a sigh of relief. Now if we can just finish up the house before tomorrow so we don't have to come back up here! We went home and Marshall finished staining the porch while I cleaned up inside some. We decided to worry about painting the closets tomorrow. I was exhausted so we decided to get some sleep and hit it hard early in the morning.
