This morning I had coffee with Tina, her baby Harper and her sister-in-law Stacey. It was my first time meeting Stacey as she and Tina's brother Jeremy have just moved to the area from Ohio. I was finally able to give Harper her Christmas gift that Marshall and I had for her. We had gotten her this furry winter hat and a stacking toy. According to the box, the toy was to help promote crawling although Tina and I both couldn't figure out how. Later, however, Tina sent me a could of pictures of Harper playing on the floor with her new toy. She was determined to get to it and kept reaching for it as it would teeter away from her. Well, then I guess that is how it promotes crawling! Apparently, the box doesn't lie. Harper seemed very set on trying to get it even it it did require her to have to move a bit to get to it.

After my mom got off work, I went over to her house to try to install her new router for her. We had a pizza Mom picked up on the way home while I tried rather unsuccessfully to get it installed for her. Marshall has always installed and set up all of our electronic things - routers, smart remotes, surround sound - so I had no idea what I was doing. It all seemed to go just fine until I tried to rename her wifi network and change their password. Somehow it all went awry there. I finally gave up and told her either I would come back over on Sunday or I would get Marshall to. I headed home to wait for Marshall to get home from Army Wives. Fortunately, he got off work at a fairly decent time and so he was able to make it back to Wilmington by around 11:30pm. I was actually still up when he pulled in the driveway. I even managed to stay awake for a bit before dozing off on the couch. Eventually, we both peeled ourselves off the couch and crawled into bed.
