Nolan Eason

At 1:03AM on Friday, March 30, 2012 my first child was born - a son. We named him Nolan Eason. 21" long, 5lb 3oz. He was beautiful and perfect in every way, except that he was stillborn. As we searched for answers to his untimely death, we also searched for comfort. This blog was created as a way of working through my sorrow by trying to find something beautiful in the world each day. Hopefully, along the way it will help others to heal as well.

Couch Potato

We were back downtown filming again today in the dreaded Penthouse location. I had to be at work at 7am for a private rehearsal, even though the rest of the crew didn't have to come in until 7:30am. The only good thing about being there that early was watching the sun rise above all the high rise buildings downtown. Today was a pretty long day as we didn't end up wrapping until 9pm. By the time work was over I was so tired and sick... I'm starting to think I caught Marshall's cold. Ugh. All I could think about was going home and sleeping.

Our new couch arrived in Wilmington! Since Marshall was prepping today on the pilot he's about to start called Witches of East End, Stacey agreed to be at our house to meet the couch delivery man. Marshall ended up being there too, but Stacey came anyway to hang out with Marshall and to see the new couch. They both said it looks great and is soooo comfy! I'm jealous. I would give anything to be at home just laying on my new couch watching movies and nursing my cold. Soon enough I will be home and I don't care if I do turn into a couch potato. It will be short lived as come March my life will hopefully change forever and I can't wait!
