We were downtown again today, but not at the Penthouse. We were, however, on the rooftop of yet another high rise building filming at a rooftop pool. The scene was with Timothy and Morgan which are always fun to work with but it was freezing cold! I'm still feeling the effects of my cold and my nose is constantly running. I'm pretty sure I've run through an entire box of Kleenex in the last 2 days. Now when I ask makeup for a tissue, instead of handing me one Chris hands me a handful of them. I think he's figured out I'm sick.

Finally, we finished the scene on the rooftop that seemed to go on much too long. In reality I'm sure it was just as long as it was supposed to be, but being cold and sick I was pretty miserable up there. We moved down to the ground level in the 4th ward of Charlotte to film the rest of our day work. The rest of the day consisted of a lot of visual effects shots not only to replace Claire's baby bump but to add in a car wreck that we weren't actually filming. If only people really knew how we got things to look the way they do. We had one car that was perfectly fine and the other was the aftermath of the car wreck, so we had no car to actually crash. Instead we had a large green screen to put outside the car and simply filmed the two cars as separate elements that the VFX crew would make as one element in post. Interesting, huh? Again, it was all day work so we were done as soon as the sun went down. Thank goodness. It's another early night for bed for me. Tonight's dinner consisted of Palak Paneer leftovers and more ice cream.
