Nolan Eason

At 1:03AM on Friday, March 30, 2012 my first child was born - a son. We named him Nolan Eason. 21" long, 5lb 3oz. He was beautiful and perfect in every way, except that he was stillborn. As we searched for answers to his untimely death, we also searched for comfort. This blog was created as a way of working through my sorrow by trying to find something beautiful in the world each day. Hopefully, along the way it will help others to heal as well.

Snuggle Bug

JoJo is definitely making the most of her last week as the only child as she snuck into bed again this morning and proceeded to snuggle up between us with her head on the pillow. She was so sweet and cuddly this morning it made it really hard to get out of bed. I decided to try my hand at a more advanced toboggan knitting pattern I had today and I not only conquered it I made the entire hat in a day. Of course, all I pretty much did was knit today and play with JoJo but it was a nice relaxing day. I spent some of the day trying to clean up some last things around the house I wanted done before the baby came but all in all it was a loungy type of day.
